Make a NINJA ASSASSIN (movie) poster

This is a tutorial show you how to transform the normal photo of the actor into movie poster with pro effects that was used by the designer of the movie .

Choosing the photo:
when you choose a photo for this tutorial make sure it's high quality and fully with blade thats all

1-Duplicate the background layer (Ctrl+J) then go to Filter>Blur>Gaussian Blur then:

2-Add a layer to the duplicated layer a layer mask :


3-With a small brush with 50 hardness  start painting on the edges of character's body then click on the layer mask while holding Alt (alt+click on lyer mask) to finish the hole area of the body:

this is the result until now:

4-Now duplicate the background layer 3 times like this:

5-select the second layer (like next pic) then change it's opacity to 75

6-Press Ctrl+U then :

7-Select the third Layer then change it's blend mode to Soft Light:

8-Press Ctlr+U then:

9-Select the fourth layer then change its blend mode Overlay And the Opacity to 75: 

10-Press on Ctrl+U then:

11-Add a new layer drag it to the top then select the gradient tool (from black to transparent ) and add one like this: (to keep the gradient straight hold Shift while drawing it)

12-Select a big brush(black) with 0 hardness (by click right in the photo area :

13-Now start painting in the Edges like this :

14-Add a layer mask to the previous layer:

15-with a small brush (black) paint the hands and sword area (not the legs):

16-Now select the second top layer lik this:

17-Press Ctrl+U then follow this pic :

And this is the final result:
